Description
An estimated 41 million children are involved in competitive sports annually; concussions sometimes come with the territory. Learn about the symptoms and treatments of concussions, when it is safe for your child to return to play, plus everything else you need to know to provide safe play for your kids, grandkids and team. The presenters will be joined by Keith Primeau, a former professional hockey player, and the co-author of “Concussed” and “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Philadelphia Flyers.” There will be a question and answer period, and book sales and signings will be available after the program. This program is co-sponsored by the Wayne Y.
Presenters: Chilton Hospital Pediatric Emergency Medical Director Philip Devadan, MD and Emergency Department Medical Director Arthur Calaise, DO
Pre-registration is required for all programs.
