Abraham Knoll, MD, of Wayne’s Associates in Urology, Receives Chilton Hospital’s “Physicians We Admire” Award|
Urologist Abraham Knoll, MD, was named the recipient of Chilton Hospital’s “Physicians We Admire” award. He has been a member of the Chilton Medical Staff for since 2006 and is a partner in Associates in Urology North Jersey, PA in Wayne.
The quarterly Physicians We Admire award was created to provide Chilton Hospital staff the opportunity to recognize physicians that embrace the organization’s five shared values on a daily basis: collaboration, ownership, excellence, compassion and innovation. The award winner is also one who leads the health care team in delivering high quality, safe, personalized patient care.
“All of our physicians play a vital role in what we do every day,” said Chilton Hospital Chief Nursing Officer Joanne Reich, RN, MA, NE-A, BC. “With this award, we celebrate and highlight one of our physicians who takes ownership in working with all staff to meet patients’ needs and who provides compassionate care each and every time to our patients and their families.”
Dr. Knoll was essential in creating Chilton’s Robot-Assisted Surgery program. Members of the Operating Room leadership team nominated him for this and numerous other reasons. Examples of comments included:
- “He is a pleasure to work with and is always willing to take the time to answer any questions."
- “We have all observed him treating his patients with compassion and taking time to put the patients and families at ease before surgery.”
- “He takes the lead in the management of his patients in surgery but works collaboratively with all members of the team to assure the best care for his patients.”
- “Dr. Knoll presents himself in a true professional manner. He represents Chilton Hospital well and his main concern is for the safety of his patients.”
