Chilton Hospital Foundation Presents Carnaval ‘Chilton Style’ Annual Fundraising Gala on November 3

Sandra and Bruce Dolin, co-chairs of the Chilton Hospital Foundation 2012 annual charity gala, welcome the public to the luxurious The Venetian in Garfield, NJ, where the Brazilian Carnaval-themed event will take place on November 3.

The annual Chilton Hospital Foundation charity gala will be held at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ, on Saturday, November 3, from 6 p.m. until midnight.

The 2012 gala committee is planning an exciting, fun, black tie affair of dancing and festivities, together with a lavish menu. Foundation Trustee Bruce Dolin and wife, Sandra, are co-chairs of the event. This year’s theme is Carnaval, “Chilton Style.”

“We chose a Carnaval theme this year to promote a festive atmosphere to celebrate the hospital’s many recent success stories,” said Sandra Dolin. “In recent years, Chilton has reached great achievements including renovations of numerous areas, plus many health care awards and certifications. The gala will honor these successes and thank those that have helped our mission for quality care come to fruition.”

A silent auction will offer the opportunity to bid on fabulous prizes, such as gorgeous jewelry, fabulous furs and vacation getaways. A limited 50/50 raffle will offer $15,000 in cash prizes.

The 2012 gala honors local philanthropists Mimi and Eddie Feliciano. Mimi is president and owner, and Eddie is vice president of the Jerry and Dolores Turco Medical Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln Park, NJ. Mimi and Eddie share Chilton Hospital’s philosophy of personalized care in a healing environment.

The annual gala and other events held by the Chilton Hospital Foundation will continue to help support Chilton’s $24 million renovation. “In recent years, we have witnessed the completion of the MotherBaby Center, The Breast Center, Cardiovascular Interventional Lab, Total Joint Center and the Surgical Services area,” said Chilton President and CEO Deborah K. Zastocki, DNP, RN. “All of these centers of excellence have features that foster personalized care. Upon completion of the $24 million project, we will nearly triple the number of our private rooms - addressing a top patient priority and exceeding the standards of any other area hospital. I look forward to the completion of The Cancer Center’s renovations, which we’ve begun with the support and generosity of our community.”
