'Crush' Your Cigarette Smoking Habits for the New Year 12/21/2012
If quitting cigarettes is your New Year’s resolution, Chilton Hospital can help! Its six-week “Crush” smoking cessation program is designed to make 2013 a year of greatly improved health.
Crush is held each Thursday, from Jan. 10 through Feb. 14, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The sessions will be held at the Chilton Health Network building (about 1.5 miles down the street from the hospital), Community Outreach Conference Room, 242 West Parkway, Pompton Plains.
The program schedule is as follows:
Week one: Planning to quit
Week two: Quit day
Week three through five: Counseling, group support on the dangers of smoking/second-hand smoke, the benefits of quitting and helpful tips for staying smoke free.
Week six: Staying smoke-free, keeping a smoke-free household and celebration!
