(Pompton Plains, NJ) - Attention golf lovers: Here's a great way to enjoy a relaxing day on the course while helping your community hospital.

Chilton Hospital announces its "27th Annual Chilton Golf Classic" on June 13, at the beautiful Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne, NJ. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will benefit Chilton Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of the nonprofit acute care hospital located in Pompton Plains, NJ.

"Thanks to the generosity of our community members, local businesses and philanthropists, $400,000 was raised last year through special events, such as the Golf Classic," said Chilton Foundation Executive Vice President Dawn Jones. "This money went toward telemetry beds, which monitor a patient's heart rate."

The Chilton Hospital Foundation is aiming to equal last year's figure of $150,000 raised from the Golf Classic. Funds generated from this year's event will continue to support the $24 million hospital wide renovation project.

Schedule of Events

• 6:30 a.m.: Breakfast and registration
• 7:30 a.m.: Morning shotgun start
• 11 a.m.: Buffet lunch and afternoon registration
• 1 p.m.: Afternoon shotgun start
• 6 p.m.: Elegant cocktail reception
• 7 p.m.: Dinner and awards ceremony

Ticket Information
Tickets for a full day of golf are $550 each. Afternoon golf is limited to 100 players. Afternoon golf is sold out. However there are still spaces available in the morning. Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. All reservations must be accompanied by a payment. Admission for just the cocktail reception and buffet are $150.

Raffle and Silent Auction
Chances for the 50/50 cash raffle will be available prior to the event and throughout the day for $100. Only 400 tickets will be printed. The prize pool for this year's raffle is expected to reach $20,000. A Silent Auction will feature golf foursomes to several area golf courses, sporting events such as the Yankees and Mets and Broadway shows.
