Javier J. Lugo, MD is named the recipient of Chilton Hospital’s “Physicians We Admire” award. Dr. Lugo is the chairman of the Pediatrics Department at Chilton and is the director of the hospital’s Pediatric Hospitalist Program.
The quarterly Physicians We Admire award was created to provide Chilton Hospital staff the opportunity to recognize physicians that embrace the organization’s five shared values on a daily basis: collaboration, ownership, excellence, compassion and innovation. The award winner is also one who leads the health care team in delivering high quality, safe, personalized patient care.
“This award enables our nursing staff to recognize a physician who displays collaboration with our staff in the delivery of personalized, excellent care,” said Chilton Hospital Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Joanne Reich, RN, MA, NE-A, BC. Our physicians are essential to the delivery of quality care, every day.”
