Chilton Hospital’s 29th Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser on June 10 Features First Time Ever Tennis Tournaments|
Chilton Hospital announces its “29th Annual Chilton Golf Classic” on Monday, June 10, at the beautiful Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne, NJ. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will benefit Chilton Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of the nonprofit acute care hospital located in Pompton Plains, NJ.
The 2013 event will be unique: It will mark the first time in the Chilton Golf Classic’s 29-year history that tennis matches will be available as an alternative to golf, according to Chilton Hospital Foundation and Community Outreach Director Joan Beloff.
“Not everyone plays golf, so we decided to expand the festivities so more people can join us in our celebration of improving the health status of the community,” she explained. “Proceeds from the event will support our $5 million Capital Campaign to bolster the hospital’s Strategic Plan. This includes more private patient rooms, acquiring additional high-tech medical equipment, building ambulatory centers, expansion and modernization of the Chilton Cancer Center and much more.”
