Chilton Hospital Offers Special Diabetes Friendly Cooking Class on November 5|
Preparing holiday meals can be challenging for those who have dietary restrictions due to diabetes.
In honor of American Diabetes Month, Chilton Hospital is offering a “Diabetes Friendly Holiday Entertaining” program on Tuesday, November 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Chilton Health Network building, 242 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ.
Back by popular demand, Daniel Frey, a chef with diabetes, will provide cooking demonstrations. Delicious appetizers will be prepared and practical tips for healthy holiday cooking will be provided in the MICU Classroom. The recipes can be enjoyed by everyone concerned with healthy eating.
