| As a complement to our medical services, massages can help reduce stress and relive sore muscles. Massage techniques offered include:
- Swedish Massage
Is a systematic approach of stroking, kneading, vibrating and tapping movements designed to stimulate circulation and energize the body.
- Deep Tissue Massage
This technique is designed to target the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. The massage strokes are slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on the areas of tension and pain.
- Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply.
All massages are customized to the client’s needs. The massage therapist can use a blend of strokes and pressure depending on preference.
Massage services are available Monday through Friday, including evenings. Physician referral is not required. Most insurers do not reimburse for these services.
Massage may be used in conjunction with traditional medical therapies but does not replace the need for proper medical diagnosis and care from a qualified physician. is deeper and concentrated on the areas of tension and pain
