To promote sales, we continue to make special purchases for our customers and hold “boutique” sales during the year at our hospital cafeteria, 242 West Parkway and two local communities.
Cash for Gold Fundraiser: May 1 and 2 & December 3 and 4
Bring in your unwanted gold and silver jewelry and leave with cash! The 2013 events will be held on May 1 and 2 and Decemeber 3 and 4. It will be held at the hospital cafeteria at 97 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the Chilton Health Network building at 242 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (simultaneously). A Night at the Theatre
The Chilton Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a benefit performance of “A Chorus Line,” on Thursday, May 30, 2013. It will be held at 8 p.m., at the Barn Theatre, 32 Skyline Drive, Montville, NJ. More details coming soon. Last year's “Lend Me a Tenor” performance raised $8,700 for the hospital's Oncology program. Click here to read more about this event.
Queen's Tea Event: October 3 and 10
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Chilton Hospital Auxiliary invites the community to its fourth annual “Queen’s Tea” on Thursday, October 3 and 10, 2013 (two sessions: afternoon and evening) at High SocieTea House in Wayne. Participants will enjoy special menu samplings, exotic teas, raffles and a 50/50, plus other gifts. Proceeds from this event will support Chilton's Breast Center. More details coming soon. "Give and Receive" Basket Raffle: October 30
The 13th annual "Give and Receive" Basket Raffle will held on October 30, 2013. Various departments within the hospital will create gift baskets to be raffled off. The 2012 event featured 23 amazing baskets.
Casino Night: November 16, 2013
This event includes professional dealers, gaming tables, food, entertainment and many beautiful baskets that are raffled off. More details coming soon.
Tree of Lights Fundraiser and Ceremony
This fundraiser is in its 23rd year. Participants have the opportunity to purchase a light on a tree in front of the hospital in memory or in honor of a loved one. The lights remain lit throughout the holiday season and donor and honoree names are posted on boards in the lobby. Donations are $10 per name and $50 per family and are accepted all year. The tentative date for the next next tree lighting ceremony will be December 5, 2013.
Tree Trim and Untrim
On November 26, 2013, the Auxiliary and local Ladies Clubs will decorate holiday trees in the hospital for display during the season. The trees will be untrimmed on January 3, 2014.
